Hi, I'm Kenyon — and this is why I do what I do.
When my daughter was 15 months old, I found myself doing what so many parents do: searching every single day for something fun, safe, and worthwhile to do with her. What's happening this weekend? Is there a free event nearby? Where do families actually go around here? That search led me to Macaroni Kid — and I was immediately hooked. I started sharing it with every parent I knew because I couldn't believe more families didn't know about it. The more I shared it, the more I thought: I could do this. I could be the one who brings this resource to parents right here in Southwest Houston. So I became the Owner and Publisher of Macaroni Kid Southwest Houston — and it has been an incredible gift ever since. Every week, I get to be the person who makes sure the 4,000+ families in Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, and Stafford never miss out on what's happening in their own backyard. My mission is simple: to be the go-to resource local parents actually trust — and to bridge the gap between the amazing local businesses in Fort Bend County and the families who would love them. Beyond Macaroni Kid, I'm also the founder and Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant behind Nite Nite Baby Pediatric Sleep Consulting. My path to this work was deeply personal — as a NICU mom whose daughter spent 59 days in the NICU, I lived firsthand how exhaustion affects an entire family's wellbeing.
I became certified through the Center for Pediatric Sleep Management, combining my healthcare background as a former EMT with my lived experience as a mom to help other families finally get the rest they deserve.
